Colorado is one of the best states to view the Fall foliage. The leaves are still hanging on the Aspens here in Estes even as we see the first snow falling on the high peaks. This definitely is the last week to view the golden vistas.
Two drives that are mandatory for Aspen viewing before the season ends are The Peak to Peak highway 7 between Lyons and Estes Park and also Trail Ridge Road Hwy 34 through Rocky Mountain National Park to Grand Lake.
Make plans for the weekend to enjoy the crisp cool air and the elk bugling in Estes Park. Enjoy a hike in RMNP or around Lake Estes.
